La Bastide des Chardons: where architecture meets the soul of textiles
In the heart of a Provençal village in the Alpilles, La Bastide des Chardons, an eighteenth-century manor house, sets the scene for a rare encounter: between architectural heritage and the world of BERENGERE LEROY. In this stone setting, bathed in light and memory, materials find their voice, guided by Bérengère’s sensitive eye.
La Bastide des Chardons: a place, an emotion, a creation
For this exceptional photoshoot, a unique creation came to life: an exclusive version of the Curve sofa, upholstered in fabric BAOBAB in an unprecedented shade, conceived especially for the Bastide’s singular atmosphere.
Born of a collaboration with Jean and Arthur Bosc, architects at the helm of the BOSC practice, this piece is far more than an item of furniture: it embodies a dialogue between two disciplines, between architectural lines and textile craftsmanship.
A way of life in harmony
In this interior steeped in history, Curve finds its natural place. Its sculptural curves follow the contours of the ancient volumes, while its vibrant material captures the changing light. Every detail, every texture, becomes a vessel for shared emotion, a delicate presence that enhances without ever imposing.
This setting tells the story of what Maison BERENGERE LEROY consistently stands for: an intimate, rooted and free-spirited luxury, where elegance is always in conversation with space, light and life.
In praise of precision
This project perfectly illustrates the essence of bespoke according to Bérengère Leroy. Creating for a place, an atmosphere, an intention. Offering each setting the piece that will reveal its soul without fixing it in place, in a living harmony.
Here, La Bastide des Chardons becomes the quiet stage for a rare way of life, where heritage and contemporary creation intertwine in a whisper of materials and forms.
